Do you really trust what your eyes are telling you?

In Réalités parallèles (Parallel Realities), a simple pattern in a hotel carpet becomes a hypnotic abyss. A tear in a spaceship wall opens a door to the inconceivable. An airplane overhead foreshadows the worst. . . but pianos fall out of it and are scattered across the countryside, soothing the souls of the soldiers below.

Is the world really what we think we perceive? Does the world really correspond to what we see? To what we think it is?

Réalités parallèles features two stories that make us question our certainties. Using an inventive combination of live video, paper theatre, and object theatre, La Pire Espèce takes us on an exhilarating inner journey—where perception is distorted, the unexpected arises, and reality splits in two before our very eyes.
