What if pieces of wood came to life?
In WOODS, a green leaf growing on a dead branch opens the door to an imaginary world inhabited by strange creatures, some hostile, some downright comical.
The fruit of the imagination of a duo of artists originally from Eastern Europe, this show breathes life into fragments of wood that are manipulated with remarkable precision and sensitivity.
WOODS is finely crafted object theatre that offers a delicate and playful experience, where the unexpected emerges directly from the material at hand. Inspiring visual poetry that surprises, moves and makes you laugh.
- Québec Theatre Critics Association (AQCT) Award, Best Show for Young Audiences, 2021-2022.
Language: Without words
Running time: 40 minutes
