EXHIBITION | MARIONNETTES SUR POCHETTES

March 4 to 7, 2026 

 

The exhibition is presented in the lobby of Théâtre Outremont and in the Festival international de Casteliers Headquarters.

 

This unique collection combines Catalan musician Oriol Ferré’s two passions: puppet theatre and vintage vinyl records. Collected over 25 years of attending festivals all over the world, it includes record sleeves that feature puppets, objects, and animated figures. The exhibition covers a wide range of puppetry techniques and musical styles, revealing both the universal nature of puppetry and the evocative power of vinyl.

Oriol Ferré, born in Barcelona in 1977, has been working in puppet arts for over 25 years. He is co-director of the Centre de Titelles de Lleida and the Fira de Titelles de Lleida, where he oversees the production of performances, the organization of events and exhibitions, as well as professional and educational activities. As a performing artist, he also takes part in the Centre’s street theatre productions.

Committed to the cultural sector, he is active in several professional associations and advocates for culture as a tool for social transformation and critical reflection. Passionate about his family, nature, music, and friendships, he combines creativity with engagement in his daily life.
