Loïk, a sailor disfigured during war, is posted to a remote lighthouse with a tyrannical head keeper. But soon, the two men find themselves besieged by a strange storm.
This is Alain Fournier’s third short film with puppets, inspired by his own experience as a Navy officer. This time the puppets speak.
Sale Gueule (Broken Face) received the 2014 Promotion Award Animated Mermaid at the CINANIMA festival in Portugal, as well as the Jury Award at the SPASM festival in Montréal, a film festival that celebrates the unusual.
