Grade 5 children at Lajoie elementary school were initiated into British filmmaker Nick Park’s wonderful world of plasticine. Taking inspiration from his films and in pairs of two, they wrote and illustrated stories, sculpted the characters and sets out of plasticine, then turned them into stop-motion animated films. The exhibit presents the films, research material and models produced during this workshop led by Dominique Côté and animation film director Marie Valade, in partnership with Casteliers.
