The Outremont borough and Casteliers are pleased to present Lucie Émard’s enchanting exhibition at the Galerie d’Outremont. Incredibly detailed scale models displaying a host of delightful characters, which are in fact motorized string marionettes, come alive and interact with one another along a miniature street. Their subtle movements are enough to conjure up myriad stories, enhanced by a soundtrack that combines music and everyday sounds. Ten dioramas illustrating day-to-day life situations round out this installation which will dazzle both children and adults alike.
