It all starts with an empty 50-gallon fish tank. As water slowly fills the tank, objects appear: some objects float, others sink, some dissolve and disappear. In this tiny world, a chain reaction occurs, filled with strong, dramatic events and dangerous situations, rescue and abandonment. It is an epic record of historic civilizations masquerading as a cheap party trick thanks to the ingenuity of a puppeteer.

Macromatter takes things seriously, but not too seriously! National Theatre School graduate Robert Leveroos is a multidisciplinary artisan and insatiable tinkerer who creates scenographically-driven works that incorporate live art, animation, and handmade objects. Macromatter aims to strike our imagination and skew our perceptions by exploring overlooked worlds to uncover something profoundly human.
