The OUF! Festival Off Casteliers – New formula in 2021

The OUF! Festival Off Casteliers is Québec’s only community puppetry arts festival. Founded in 2013, the festival is almost exclusively focused on local artists and provides an important showcase for emerging artists. Over the past seven years, more than 300 creative works have been presented at the Pavillon Saint-Viateur in Outremont.

For our 8^th edition, we’re presenting a series of creative works-in-progress! We’ll be active on the OUF! Facebook page every day during the festival. Some OUF! artists will also get a chance to experiment with their upcoming shows during a creative residency at the Maison internationale des arts de la marionnette (MIAM), thanks to the participation of Casteliers. The pandemic won’t break the puppetry arts spirit!
