Racontars arctiques : Le Petit Pedersen is a Nordic tale that immerses us in the journey of initiation of an unassuming, solitary old man, catapulted into the arid lands of Greenland. Live music and sound effects add to the charm of this comedic short puppet performance. Le Petit Pedersen is an adaptation of an excerpt from the works of Jørn Riel that were transposed in comic-strip form by Hervé Tanquerelle. Le Petit Pedersen is part of the show Racontars arctiques that will premiere later this year.

Company

The La ruée vers l’or collective is the result of the collaboration between Alexandre Harvey, composer and multi-instrumentalist, and Anne Lalancette, a theatre, television and film puppeteer. They share a simple and grotesque humour, mainly inspired by the world of comics and genre cinema. The collective specializes in creating shows for teen and adult audiences that combine puppetry and live music. Its works are rhythmic and are characterized by a communicative enthusiasm, a great aesthetic sensibility, and a genuine synergy with the audience.
