Part of the Café-causerie — Budding creations! event

LoveStar is a show without words, based on the novel by Icelandic writer Andri Snaer Magnasson. This exhilarating and insightful story could be the offspring of 1984 and L’écume des jours. It is an exceptionally imaginative and absurdist dystopia set in a future North where a stringless man was born and where children are rewound when they misbehave. A postmodern Romeo and Juliet where two young people, head-over-heels in love, are propelled into an unlikely quest.

Company

Théâtre Incliné is a visual theatre company that likes fragmented spaces where matter, actors’ bodies, light and music each embody a “detail” of the whole play.  Every new project is rooted in a specific region that inspires the company’s inquiring minds, José Babin and Alain Lavallée. Théâtre Incliné collaborates with artists from various cultures through international co-productions with France, Italy, Japan and Scandinavia.
