Ombres à la fenêtre

Saturday, March 1 / 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. (continuous performances)

Casteliers présents Ombres à la fenêtre during the annual Nuit blanche à Montréal event on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Both theatrical performance and visual happening, Ombres à la fenêtre showcases the works of six shadow puppetry professionals and companies.

Artists will perform short pieces in succession, each in a window. A red light will guide spectators to each window – a nod to Amsterdam’s famous district.

Ombres à la fenêtre is made possible thanks to participating artists’ generosity and the support of La Ligne Bleue. Presented as a prelude to the LES TROIS JOURS DE CASTELIERS Festival, March 6-9 2014.

This is Casteliers’ first contribution to the MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE festival and its Nuit blanche à Montréal.
