In the Paul-Gérin-Lajoie-d’Outremont High School Gymnasium

A special presentation in parallel with the 2022 Marionnettes en vitrines! walkabout exhibit.

The bounty of puppets, masks, artwork, and pictures Casteliers was generously provided with for the Marionnettes en vitrines! walkabout exhibit celebrating the art of Bread and Puppet Theater inspired this parallel exhibit in the Paul-Gérin-Lajoie-d’Outremont High School gymnasium during Festival de Casteliers. (LINK TO MEV)

A selection of masks and puppets from this treasure trove will be showcased, as well as many of Peter Schumann’s famous bad bedsheet paintings.

Details will follow.

While visiting the Bread and Puppet works, you can also see the beautiful puppets created by 5th graders at Nouvelle Querbes School: À la manière de Chagall

The COVID-19 vaccination passport is not required to enter the festival’s exhibition halls (Galerie d’Outremont and Paul-Gérin-Lajoie-d’Outremont High School Gymnasium).
