Inspired by magical realism and flash fiction, two popular literary movements in South America, Juan Perez Escala invites us into his studio to tell us his Kazus, poems that combine visual imagery, puppetry and music. Slowly, he lets us in on something a little more personal: Kazu is madly in love with Lou, but Lou isn’t there anymore…
This is the long version of the short piece performed at the 2019 Festival de Casteliers, which won festival-goers’ hearts.
The show will be presented in French.
