One day, Duck turns around to find Death standing behind her. As the two get to know each other, they begin discussing the meaning of life and relax into a frank and respectful camaraderie. Combining shadow theatre and live acting, this adaptation of the wonderful picture book by Wolf Erlbruch is a sensitive and elegant performance that both astonishes and touches children, offering them a poetic reflection on the importance of friendship and on the transience and fragility of life.
