This story is about a woman grappling with her inner self. She is torn between her desire to break out of the confines of her daily life and her sense of guilt for not being the person others expect her to be. She’s a woman ready to test limits. As she confides in us, she kneads ever-changing dough that takes on many shapes: a head on a fingertip, a larval form, and freestanding profile…
Babette Masson is a co-founder of the Label Brut collective with Laurent Fraunie and Harry Holtzamn. She is also programming director at Le Carré, Scène nationale et Centre d’art contemporain du Pays de Château-Gontier.
This show is presented with the support of the French Consulate General in Québec City (Service de Coopération et d’Action culturelle).
