For all

Part of the Café-causerie — Budding creations! event
Four creative teams present their works-in-progress.

Four performers build, occupy and annihilate ephemeral spaces that are set in motion like clockwork mechanisms. Time accelerates, expands, stops. As visual paintings come to life, anecdotes intersect. This Canadian-Mexican co-production is a reflection on our cultural relationship to time.

Company

La Tortue Noire artists seek to address, in a new way, the manipulation of objects and the relationship between actor and manipulator. The Saguenay company has produced seven works that have been performed in Quebec and abroad. Founded in 2001 in Guadalajara, Mexico, the Luna Morena company’s experimental approach focuses on new forms that possess a powerful visual aesthetic.
