Racontars arctiques presents a series of unlikely stories about a handful of solitary hunters living on Greenland’s north-eastern shores during the 50s and 60s. This is a puppet theatre and musical adaptation of the namesake comic strip that was itself an adaptation of the works of Danish author Jørn Riel.
Company
La Ruée vers l’or collective is the result of collaboration between two long-time friends: composer and multi-instrumentalist Alexandre Harvey, and Anne Lalancette, a professional puppeteer for over 12 years. They share a simple and grotesque humour, mainly inspired by the world of comics and genre cinema.
