All audiences, 3 to 5 years Without words

In an intimate setting, this silent journey set to delicate melodies offers a series of poetic and cinematic images, tailored to an early-childhood audience. Gus tells us of the importance of pursuing our dreams; of the power of friendship and of the small and not-so-small sorrows we face throughout life.

Dominique Leroux is a multidisciplinary artist who has trained in Québec, France and Belgium. Her research explores performance, the random transformation of matter, natural objects and poetry expressed through the creation of images without words, playful space and atmospheric environments. In 2011, she founded the Petite Théâtrerie on the Magdalen Islands, an intimate playhouse dedicated to puppetry arts.

Gus is making his final preparations. He told me he was leaving, but where? I don’t know. He asked me to invite you to share this important moment with him. Welcome to Gus’ world!...
