Lucien lives alone, in the desert. A place where the sand seeps into everything and the wind reveals the vestiges of an ancient civilization…
In a postapocalyptic universe, this immobile traveller searches for the meaning of his existence. Alone, he delves into his memories, as a way of reinventing himself despite the solitude. Lucien is naïve, slow-moving, and possesses the capacity to marvel at the smallest thing. He holds up a mirror to each of us, a reflection of our own cruelty, stupidity, and hypocrisy. A eulogy to slowness, tenderness, and attentive observation of the other.

Aluma creates shows with and for live audiences living with functional limitations (psychological health disorders, physical, sensory or intellectual differences) and for audiences experiencing social and cultural exclusion. Placing the human being at the heart of its artistic research, it aims to reveal singular beauty through the medium of puppetry.
